Obverse: AYTOK K Γ OYIB TΡEB ΓAΛΛOC CEB, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the back, two dots beneath bust.
Reverse: ΔHMAΡX EΞOYCIAC, eagle standing with body right, head left, tail left, wreath in beak, B between legs, SC in exergue.
Metal: Silver (AR), though the silver content in tetradrachms from this period is notably low. These coins, struck during the reign of Trebonianus Gallus (AD 251–253), often contain a significant amount of copper, giving them a more greyish or dull appearance. The estimated silver purity is around 30–40%, but this can vary.
